The Primal Performance Series Dual Assisted Chin/Dip is a commercial pin select station that lets members do chin ups and dips with counterweight assistance from a 125 kg stack. How does the assistance work?

Users select weight on the 125 kg pin select stack. The stack counterbalances part of their bodyweight, so a higher setting means an easier rep.

What ceiling height does it need?

The machine itself is 2220 mm tall, so it fits under a 2.4 m ceiling. During chin ups the user's head rises towards the top handles, so for taller members a ceiling of 2.7 m or more gives comfortable headroom. Check for beams and lights directly above the station.
