The Primal Front Facing Lat Pulldown is a plate loaded lat pulldown with a dual lever arm, built for commercial gyms, PT studios and strength facilities that want heavy back training without a cable stack. How is the machine loaded?

It is plate loaded. You add 50 mm Olympic plates to the lever arms (plates are not included), so the maximum load depends on the plates you have rather than a fixed stack.

What ceiling height do I need?

The frame itself is 2450 mm tall and the lever arms start high, so a 2.4 m ceiling is too low. Plan for at least 2.7 m, and check any beams, lights or fans above the spot you choose.

Can it do high rows as well as pulldowns?

Yes. With the seat all the way forward you get a near vertical pulldown. Slide it back and the angle of pull changes to a high row, which puts more of the work into the upper back and rear delts.
