Primal Performance Series Plate Loaded ISO Shoulder Press
The Primal Performance Series ISO Shoulder Press is a plate loaded, independent arm shoulder press that works seated or standing, for commercial gyms, sports facilities and PT studios. It loads with 50 mm Olympic plates, has a 2050 × 1340 mm footprint and stands 1640 mm tall.
Each lever moves on its own and the arms travel in a natural converging and diverging arc, so users can press one arm or both, face away from the machine seated, or face it standing for power presses.
Who it is for
- Commercial gyms adding an overhead press to the plate loaded line
- Sports facilities training standing power presses safely
- PT studios working on shoulder imbalances with one arm pressing
- Lifters who want heavy overhead work without a barbell
Key features
- Independent ISO lever arms for single or double arm pressing
- Converging and diverging arc that follows the natural pressing path

- Suits standing power presses with the safety of a guided lever
- Quick release seat to set the height fast

- Seated heavy presses for shoulder strength and size
- Standing machine facing power presses for athletes

Frequently asked questions
What floor space does the ISO Shoulder Press need?
It measures 2050 mm long, 1340 mm wide and 1640 mm high. With about 600 mm clearance around it, allow a zone of roughly 3.3 × 2.5 m.
How is it loaded?
It is plate loaded with 50 mm Olympic plates onto each lever (plates not included), so each arm can carry its own load.
What ceiling height do I need?
The frame is 1640 mm tall, but the levers travel overhead and taller users will lock out well above the frame, especially in the standing press. Plan for a ceiling of at least 2.7 m.
Can I train one arm at a time?
Yes. Each lever arm is independent, so users can press single arm, alternate arms, or press both together.
What warranty does it come with?
Primal Strength states a full commercial use warranty of 5 years on the frame, 3 years on parts, and 1 year on pads, cables, pulleys and wearables, plus 1 year labour.
